Amla (Emblica officinalis), also known as Indian Gooseberry, is a deciduous tree native to the Indian subcontinent. Human studies have mostly focused on amla’s cardiovascular benefits, noting that it promotes healthy cholesterol balance. In Ayurveda, it is used for immunity, gastrointestinal support, cardiovascular health, blood sugar control and respiratory support. AOR’s Amla provides an effective dose and extract for full delivery of its benefits.

DISCUSSION: Amla is an extract of Emblica officinalis, or Indian Gooseberry.
